अलिबाग : अलिबाग-वडखळ राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग आता चकाचक होणार आहे. या रस्त्याच्या डांबरीकरणासाठी २२ कोटी १४ लाख रुपयांचा निधी मंजूर करण्यात आला आहे. तत्पूर्वी, या रस्त्यावरील खड्डे भरण्यात येणार आहेत. या महामार्गाचे चौपदरीकरण व्हावे, यासाठी अलिबागचे आमदार महेंद्र दळवी आग्रही असून शनिवारी (५ जुलै) विधानसभा अध्यक्ष, राज्यमंत्री यांच्यासह ते केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांची भेट घेणार आहेत.
पनवेलपासून वडखळपर्यंत अर्ध्या तासात सुसाट येणार्‍या अलिबागकरांना वडखळ ते अलिबाग हा प्रवास जिकरीचा ठरत आहे. रस्त्यात पडलेले खड्डे आणि रस्त्याच्या क्षमतेपेक्षा जास्त वाढलेली वाहनसंख्या त्यामुळे नागरिकांना वाहतूक कोंडीचा सामना करावा लागतो. ही कोंडी फुटावी, यासाठी अलिबागचे आमदार महेंद्र दळवी यांनी हालचाली सुरु केल्या आहेत. याबाबत, बुधवारी (२ जुलै) विधिमंडळात विधानसभा अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर यांच्या दालनात यासंदर्भातील बैठक पार पडली.
या बैठकीला राज्याचे सार्वजनिक बांधकामंत्री शिवेंद्रराजे भोसले, आमदार महेश बालदी, माजी आमदार सुभाष पाटील, आस्वाद पाटील उपस्थित होते. अलिबाग-वडखळ राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग हा सुरुवातीला राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाकडे होता. आता हा महामार्ग राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग बांधकाम विभागाकडे हस्तांतरीत करण्यात आला आहे. मात्र हस्तांतरणाची तांत्रिक प्रक्रिया पूर्ण झाली नसल्याचे कारण देत दोन्ही यंत्रणांकडून रस्त्याच्या देखभाल दुरुस्तीकडे दुर्लक्ष केले जात होते. महामार्गावर ठिकठिकाणी खड्डे पडल्याने, वाहनचालकांना मनस्ताप सहन करावा लागत होता.
त्यामुळे रस्त्याची तातडीने दुरुस्ती करा आणि चौपदरीकरणासाठी फेरप्रस्ताव सादर करा, असे निर्देश यावेळी सार्वजनिक बांधकाम मंत्री शिवेंद्रराजे भोसले यांनी राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग बांधकाम विभागाला दिले. केंद्र सरकारच्या रस्ते व परिवहन राज्य मंत्रालयाने यावर्षीच्या वार्षिक कार्यक्रमात या रस्त्याच्या दुरुस्ती कामाला प्रशासकीय आणि तांत्रिक मंजुरी दिली असून, निविदा प्रक्रियाही पूर्ण झाली आहे. २२ कोटी १४ लाख रुपयांच्या कामाचा ठेका ‘देवकर अर्थमुव्हर्स’ या कंपनीला देण्यात आला आहे. पावसाळ्यानंतर डांबरीकरणाची प्रक्रिया सुरू होणार असल्याचे यावेळी संबंधित विभागाच्या अधिकार्‍यांनी सांगितले.
तर पावसाळ्यातील खड्डे भरण्यासाठी २८ लाख रुपयांचा निधीही उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आला असून नविदा प्रक्रिया पूर्ण झाली आहे. खड्डे भरणे आणि रस्ता दुरुस्तीची कामे लवकरच सुरु होणार आहेत, अशी माहिती विभागाकडून देण्यात आली आहे. त्यामुळे अलिबाग-वडखळ महामार्गाचा प्रश्न लवकरच मार्गी लागण्याची चिन्हे दिसत आहेत.
Alibaug-Wadkhal highway to be dazzling, Rs 22 crore approved for asphalting
Alibagh | Alibaug-Wadkhal National Highway is now going to be dazzling. A fund of Rs 22 crore 14 lakh has been approved for asphalting this road. Before that, the potholes on this road will be filled. Alibaug MLA Mahendra Dalvi is insistent that this highway should be made four-lane and on Saturday (July 5), he will meet Union Minister Nitin Gadkari along with the Assembly Speaker and Minister of State.
Alibaugkars, who can travel from Panvel to Wadkhal in half an hour, are finding the journey from Wadkhal to Alibaug a hassle. Due to potholes in the road and the number of vehicles exceeding the capacity of the road, citizens have to face traffic jams. Alibaug MLA Mahendra Dalvi has started activities to resolve this problem. In this regard, a meeting was held in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday (July 2) in the hall of Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar.
State Public Works Minister Shivendraraje Bhosale, MLA Mahesh Baldi, former MLA Subhash Patil, Aswad Patil were present in this meeting. The Alibaug-Wadkhal National Highway was initially with the National Highways Authority. Now this highway has been transferred to the National Highways Construction Department. However, both the agencies were neglecting the maintenance and repair of the road, citing that the technical process of transfer had not been completed. Due to potholes on the highway, drivers were having to suffer.
Therefore, Public Works Minister Shivendraraje Bhosale directed the National Highways Construction Department to immediately repair the road and submit a re-proposal for four-laning. The Union Ministry of Roads and Transport has given administrative and technical approval for the repair work of this road in this year’s annual program, and the tender process has also been completed. The contract for the work worth Rs 22 crore 14 lakh has been awarded to the company ‘Devkar Earthmovers’. Officials of the concerned department said that the asphalting process will start after the monsoon.
A fund of Rs 28 lakh has also been made available for filling the potholes during the monsoon and the tender process has been completed. The department has informed that the pothole filling and road repair work will start soon. Therefore, there are signs that the issue of Alibaug-Wadkhal highway will be resolved soon.
